Mera Peak Climbing

Mera Peak (6654m) is the prime as well as highest climbing destination in Nepal. Standing in Everest region its setting persists with technical difficulty needs axe skills. In 20th May, 1953 Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tensing made the successful summit on the Mera Peak Trek through Mera La pass (5415m) the northern side. After their successful summit the route became standard involves high altitude glacier walking.
