Lumbini is home to numerous temples, monasteries, and stupas, including the Mayadevi Temple, which is built on the exact spot where Buddha was born. Other notable landmarks in the area include the Ashoka Pillar, which was erected by the Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE, and the Sacred Garden, which is believed to be the site where Buddha took his first seven steps.

Visitors to Lumbini can explore the various temples and monasteries, attend Buddhist ceremonies and rituals, and learn about the life and teachings of the Buddha. The city also hosts a number of festivals and events throughout the year, including the Buddha Jayanti, which celebrates the Buddha's birthday, and the Lumbini Festival, which showcases the culture and traditions of the region.
