Tharpu Chuli is one of the attractive peaks positioned in the heart of Annapurna Sanctuary. Tharpu Chuli with 5663m elevation setting located in south from the glacier dome. As a part of the ridgeline it divides the semicircles of peaks enclosing the Sanctuary. In these days it's more commonly known as Tent Peak, was nicknamed by its first climber Jimmy Roberts in 1956. Tharpu Chuli as a part of Nepalese Himalayan range requires ice climbing equipments for summit. It offers an interesting climb to the top with spectacular Annapurna massif view. From summit you can have a marvelous panoramic view of Huinchuli (6331m), Annapurna South (7219m), Fang (7647m), Gangapurna (7455m), Annapurna III (7555m), Machhapuchhare (6993m/) and Singu Chuli or Fluted Peak (6501m).

Annapurna region is declared as world's most spectacular trail depending on a survey by Modern Maturity, US. It didn’t offers only natural beauty and high Himalayas to its visitors to climb it have significant cultural, ethnical, religious settings too. With elevation setting Annapurna region contains remarkable mixture of flora and fauna with sub-tropical forests of oak, bamboo and rhododendron in south and high alpine meadows and windswept desert plateaus in the north. As a part of Annapura region, Tharpu Chuli Peak with relatively low altitude climbing expedition with reasonable approach offers an ideal opportunity to summit a Himalayan peak for enthusiasts.

Himalaya Thunder Treks starts Tharpu Chuli Peak Climbing from Kathmandu overland trip to Pokhara. Climbing trip moves forward to Annapurna Base Camp and explores it, passing Birethanti, Tirkhedhunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani , Chumrung and Machhapuchhre Base Camp. During the climb you can view sunrise view on Annapurna region from Poon Hill. And finally in 14th day team will summit Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak). Summit presents supreme view of the entire Annapurna Sanctuary, a breathtaking circle of hanging glaciers and moraines surrounded by the highest peaks on earth. Day 5:Trek to Ghorepani (2855m)

Day 6:Sunrise Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2595m)

Day 7:Trek to Chumrung (1950m)

Day 8:Trek to Dovan (2720m)

Day 9:Trek to Machapuchre Base camp (3700m)

Day 10:Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)

Day 11:Explore Annapurna Base Camp

Day 12:Trek to Tharpu Chuli Base Camp (4400m)

Day 13:High Camp (5000m)

Day 14:Summit Tharpu Chuli (5663m) and return to Base Camp

Day 15:Trek to Machapuchre Base Camp (3700m)

Day 16:Trek to Dovan (2720m)

Day 19:Trek to Phedi and drive to Pokhara by bus/car/van

Day 20:Drive back to Kathmandu
