Chinese autonomous region have well established identity as best tourist destination. Lhasa's Potala Palace was for Dalai Lama, but these days it’s the icon of Tibet. The great monument is main attractions for visitors as visitor can make a panoramic view of Lhasa. Monasteries reflect its practice of Buddhism, often Tibet is described as city of monasteries. The Samye monastery is believed as the first monastery of Tibet, built between 775 and 779 A.D. Gyanste is the adventurous destination with its passes and lakes provides a lot of natural excitement. Kambala(4790m) and Yangdrok with splendid mountains makes this third largest Tibetan city noticeable.

Shigatse is the business hub at the convergence of the Yarlung Tsangpo and the Nyang River. It’s the ancient capital of Ü-Tsangs have prominent identity of shopping hub. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1:Flight to Lhasa
Flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa; warm welcome in Lhasa (Gongar) airport by Himalaya Thunder Treks staff. Acclimatization with elevation setting.

Day 2:Lhasa Sight seen
Sight Seen including Potala Palace, the 13-soreyed palace used to winter abode for the Dalai Lama. The incredible palace hosts panoramic view of Lhasa covers various places around. Sera Monastery, founded in 1419 by Sakya Yeshe, a disciple of Tsongkhapa is another destination for the day.

Day 3:Explore Lhasa
Jokhang Temple, sacred temple of Tibet refers as “Buddha’s House”. Jokhang Temple presents the convergence of Tibet’s Spiritual and secular life. Barkhor Bazaar is the most important religious paths with shopping. Another attraction of Lhasa is Norbulingkha, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama

Day 4:Drive to Tsedang /Samye 165km
After about 165km drive along with Tsangpo river tour meets the fantastic monastery Samye. It's believed to be Tibet's first monastery, built between 775 and 779 A.D. Its the symbol of Tibet's national identity. Another destination for the day is Yumbulakhang palace, first building of Tibet as palace for first Tibetan king.

Day 5:Drive to Yamdroktso/Gyantse 340km
With 4WD jeep tour team moves on wheel to Gyanste, passing Kambala(4790m), with a short view on Yangdrok lake at top of KambabaLa pass, with splendid view of mountains and lake. Perkhor Chode monastery also visited.

Day 6:Drive to Shigatse 90km,
After Gyantse tour moves forward to Shigatse, the second largest city of Tibet. Then make a visit to the impressive Tashilhunpo Monastery, residence of Tibetan Panchen Lama. Business hub Shigatse is also famous for shopping.

Day 7:Drive to Lhasa 280km
Drive along the Yarlung Zsangpo River back to Lhasa gives chance to make keen view to experience Tibetan village and culture as well as their religious practice.

Day 8:Flight to Kathmandu
Flight Back to Kathmandu, capital city often described as temple city, memorable dinner in Nepali Chulo. From here you can start another tour program.
