Way out in the remote far west it requires a long bus ride to Birendra Nagar and then about three hours rough bus ride to put-in point Dungeshwar. With challenging, big water rapids, superb canyons, pristine wilderness and plentiful wildlife it will be the unforgettable trip of your life.

During raft in Karnali River biggest rapids class 4 comes in the first couple of days and the river gradually mellowing after that. With spectacular view, remote jungle-clad canyons, big whitewater and abundant wildlife it presents far western natural beauty. You can raft the Karnali right into Bardia National Park, where probably you can view wild elephants, tigers, crocodiles and rhinos from the river. Finally trip put-outs at Chasipani of Bardiay from where you can join Jungle safari.

Renowned as Nepal's premier fishing river Karnali needs more than week long trip to explore magnificent whitewater challenge. If you have previous rafting experience or are looking for an expedition style river adventure with classic river journey really it's for you. The Karnali is the best run at low to medium levels it’s a particularly good choice in March and April, though the nature of channel makes it lively at all times outside of high water. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1:Drive to Birendra Nagar (Surkhet) from Kathamndu
Drive to Birendra Nagar (Surkhet) from Kathamndu about 23 hours by bus. You have to pass your first night inside the bus throughout the drive.

Day 2:Rafting Day
After breakfast rafting team moves via minibus to put-in point Dungeshwar with 5 hours drive. Unspoiled scene of far western villages, farms and mountains will welcome you with natural stroke. After lunch there will be briefing about security, terrain and rapids by leader and guides. Over night in camp at the bank of Karnali.

Day 3:Rafting Day
It’s the day to take challenge with Karnali River. Team organizes warm up rafting you will be trained for constant bumping on river rapids. Karnali has great class IV rapid. Over night in camp with full of excitement for next day.

Day 4:Rafting Day
After breakfast constant bumping into the Karnali rapids of starts. Its the day to experience what people imagine about Himalayan whitewater. Its BIG and continuous passing through the Jungle Corridor rafting moves ahead as guide shouts "all forward." Over night in camp.

Day 5:Rafting Day
Constant bumping into the Karnali rapids continues including notorious GOD’S HOUSE rapid. Camp at Seti Dovan over night.

Day 6:Rafting Day
Keeping paddling into Karnali rapids you will experience what is Himalayan whitewater rafting. Along side Karnali river you will view breathtaking natural setting. Over night in Camp.

Day 7:Rafting Day
Its free day for paddle you too. All rafting team will enjoy great sandy beach with camp fire with its natural beauty.

Day 8:Rafting Day
Paddling starts with morning sun, bumping with Karnali you as well as team will pass the confluence with Seti River. These two day gives chance to enjoy journey admiring the country and villages. These two days you will enjoy smooth rapids of Karnali with tented camp nights.

Day 9:Rafting Day
Paddling starts with morning sun, bumping with Karnali you as well as team will pass the confluence with Seti River. These two day gives chance to enjoy journey admiring the country and villages. These two days you will enjoy smooth rapids of Karnali with tented camp nights.

Day 10:Rafting Day
With morning rafting we will come to an end of the rafting put-outs at Chasipani of Bardiay. Our trip concludes with lunch. It’s the point from where you can start visiting Bardia National Park (highly recommended!) or back to Kathmandu.

Day 11:Drive back to Kathmandu from Chisapani
Drive back to Kathmandu from Chisapani, Bardiay about 23 hours.

Day 12:Finally trip concludes reaching Kathamandu.

Trip Cost Includes
