Trip Facts

Price: USD 0

Duration: 23 days

As a part of Annapurna South the Hiunchuli Peak persists as one of the major climbing destination in Annapurna range. Often it is called sanctuary for climbers from where one can capture whole Annapurna region in his/her eyes. As one of the major climbing in Annapurna region it presents spectacular 360 degree view of Himalayan scenery. Discovered by Col. Jimmy Roberts the climbing route explores the beauties and cultural settings of Annapurna region.

In first Hiunchuli Peak was submitted by American Peace Corps Expedition in 1971 then it established as dominant climbing on Annapurana region. Hiunchuli is one of the most difficult peaks to climb. Himalaya Thunder Treks one of the best trekking agencies in Thamel makes this climbing safe and interesting to you. It starts this climbing from Kathmandu with sight seen and reaches at the summit exploring Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Base Camp. During this you can catch the views of Himalayan peaks.

With Huiunchuli there are two peaks Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak) and Singu Chuli (Fluted Peak) also lies in the Annapurna sanctuary. There are two routes to make a summit on the Hiunchuli South-East Face Route begins from Hinko Cave on the Annapurna Sanctuar trail and another North-West Face Route takes an approach from Annapurna Base Camp. Himalaya Thunder Treks organizes both but for you we recommend the second which is easy in comparison with the first.
