Helambu Valley Trekking is great for short treks, easy access from Kathamndu with an extensive trail network. Without acclimatization this area spans wide elevation range with lot of ups and downs. With natural beauty, scenic grandeur and pleasant climate you can make a view of spectacular snow-covered mountains. Situated about 72km northeast of Kathmandu, Helambu hosts typical Sherpa villages with Himalayan culture. Helambu has a setting of Hyolmos, ethnically Buddhist people. It is said their ancestors were migrated at some 13/15th centuries from the Kyerong of Tibet.

Helambu region begins from Lauribina La pass and descends to the Melamchi valley. Helambu valley caters its identity with its sweet apples, artistic Buddhist monasteries and warm hospitality. Its beauty lies on Rhododendron forests and enchanting landscape. Helambu Valley Trekking starts from Sundarijal and ends at Melamchi bazaar. Helambu Valley Trekking is great experience with beautiful alpine scenery as well as Himalayan panoramic view of the Ganesh himal massif, Everest Himalayan range, Langtang Lirung (7246m), Dorje Lakapa (6966m), Gaurishankar (7134m), Choba Bhamare (6109m), purbi Khyachu, Sisapangma and other peaks. Snow bridges on both sides of angry torrents, high passes, tiny lakes and icebergs balanced on them and waters of crystalline brightness all setting creates a feeling of heaven.

Sermathang (2621m) hosts apple plot from where you get a fantastic view of the Himalayas. Apart from this in Helambu you can make a view on wildlife such as monkeys, musk deer, Pike, national bird Daphne etc. Helambu Valley Trekking is whole year activity suitable for all age group. Day 1:Warm welcome with Nepalese Cultural way at Airport by Himalaya Thunder Team

Day 2:Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

Day 3:Drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani (2194m)

Day 4:Chisapani to Kutumsang (2446m)

Day 5:Kutumsang to Tharepati (3597m)

Day 6:Tharepati to Melamchi Gaon (2560m)

Day 7:Melamchi Gaon to Tarkeghyang (2550m)

Day 8:Tarkeghyang to Shermathang (2621m)

Day 9:Shermathang to Melamche Pul (828m)

Day 10:Melamche Pul to Kathmandu (1350m) drive

Day 11:Patan heritage site sight seen

Day 12:Memorable Nepal Day concludes sunrise View at Nagarkot, sightseeing at Bhaktapur and Nepalese dinner in typical Nepalese cultural setting.

Day 13:See off at Airport in Nepalese Cultural manner for final Departure
